On the one hand, this week should be easy because I only have to teach three days. Thursday and Friday are state testing days so I'll be in my room all day administering the tests to kids which leaves me with the ability to get shit done. The "hard" part of this week is Thursday which is the Senior Community Service Presentation night; the 4th and final late night at school. Technically, I'm supposed to be there until, something like 8:00 but we only have 5 students scheduled for the early portion of the evening and I'm not going to sit around for the rest of the night with nothing to do. I highly doubt all the kids will show either. We'll see.
The weekend was good...uneventful. I made my Thai pizza on Friday night which was delicious! Saturday we went out and about in Milford so I could return something from Amazon at Kohls. We made a stop at Meijer and then had lunch at Copper Blued. Once home I mowed the front and back yard. Actually, I didn't cut the whole front yard because it hasn't filled in yet but I cut the long parts. Jim turned the beds in the front and fertilized them. After that we hung out, I made meatloaf for dinner and we watched an episode of The Last of Us. We tried to watch Ted Lasso but Apple wasn't loading up...weird. We managed to watch the latest episode yesterday and the last Shrinking. Dinner last night was Skyline.
Dinner tonight: I'm not really sure...we'll see how I feel. I'll either make a Trader Joe's meal (General Tso's) with broccoli and rice or who knows...my menu this week sort of stumped me. When I was putting it together, I just couldn't think of anything interesting to make and of course Jim wasn't any help. Maybe I'll figure it out today when I get to school. That sounds like a plan.
Okay - time to get a move on. Happy Monday! 6 weeks left until summer break! Later!
