House Of Dragons

I don't know what made me think of it but I was perusing the internet this morning and Game of Thrones crossed my mind and I thought, Hey, wait! Isn't there a planned prequel supposed to be coming out?! So I searched and it premiers on January 1st!!! I mean, that's exciting! It makes me want to re-watch the original. Regardless though that's something I'm really looking forward to!

I woke up this morning and did a nice yoga for arm strength. Normally I do my elliptical but with the rain coming this afternoon, I doubt I'll be able to walk Scout so I'll do an after school elliptical instead. Plus, though my shoulders are feeling so much better and I have much better range of motion than I did about 6 months ago, they still need to be kept limber and it'd been a while since I did some yoga. It felt good and now I'm ready to finish up my week at school today.

So yeah, tomorrow, Jim and I will wake up early - around 5:00 - have breakfast and hit the road to pick up Trip around 6:30. That should get us to his house around 7:15 and hopefully we can get on the road by 7:30ish. That will put us at Mom's around noon. I hate that we can't get down there for when the movers arrive but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Jim and I will get the cats all caged up and ready for travel and I'm guessing we'll be back on the road by 2ish. Which means we'll get home between 6 and 7. Fingers crossed that if there's rain, there's very little of it. It's going to be a long day but Mom will finally be up here and we can all breathe a small sigh of relief!

Oh, all this means that I'll probably NOT post tomorrow. Sorry! Some things take precedence.

So weekend plans then will be: Once we get home Friday, I'll camp out in front of the fire with a glass of wine until my brain is ready for bed...that probably won't take long. Saturday Maggie, Charlie and Eva will drive down to get Mom and we'll all meet up at Silver Spring House for lunch. Saturday night Lauren, Doug, Jim and I are going to go out on the town. We've talked about heading to a couple breweries and then dinner. We're talking High Grain Brewery and then maybe Green Papaya for dinner or something along those lines. There's an Indian restaurant nearby...that would be yummy! We'll see.

Hey, it's Veterans Day! Happy day and thanks to those who've served. Which means it's 1-1-1-1-2-0-2-1 (Marble Harsgrove here...if you don't know that reference search it...it's a character of Melissa McCarthy and hilarious).

Okay well, I've rambled on about nothing for long enough. Happy Thursday! Fingers crossed that all goes smoothly tomorrow and we all make the trip safe and soundly. Later!
