I Can Do This!

I've had a headache for about three days (today's isn't too terrible yet) but I think there's a light at the end of this week's tunnel. I can see Friday in the distance and I think I can get through the days until the weekend. This weather helps, that's for sure. It is beautiful! Kind of makes up for the angst we're all going through. 

I'm not going to drone on about this election. I have faith that good will prevail and Biden will be our next president elect. I will say that it's ridiculous that ANYONE who supports a democracy, rule by the people would ever demand that legitimate votes NOT be counted. Does that include the military votes that aren't due in some states until next week? So ridiculous. Let the process proceed without tantrum, please! 

Jim's up and at 'em early. He had to be at work by 6:15ish (downtown) so I'm in charge of getting the pups settled. Thankfully they've been awake this morning and won't give me fits about going outside before I leave. Speaking of the boys, Scout slept downstairs all night. He started out in the bedroom but when I took off my socks in bed last night and threw them on the dresser, they fell off and he saw his chance. Pretty sure he snatched them and ran downstairs to cuddle. He's a nut. 

Yesterday was quite productive in that I got all my exercise (aside from walking the dogs) plus a trip to Costco before 11:00 AM. 

I have an IEP this morning but the parent isn't coming in and she isn't Zooming. She's a bit of a flake so I'm not surprised. I've got her signature though so I'll just have everyone sign and go over the thing with her son and be done. Easy.

Jim news: Had the meeting with his doc and he's got a good prognosis for the radiation. We'll meet with the radiation oncologist either tomorrow or early next week and from there we'll set up the treatments. I won't need to be at these as they'll only take about 10 minutes (there will be 2-3 the doc guesses) and Jim shouldn't suffer any side effects right away (can take days or weeks). Fingers crossed this does what it needs to do.
