Yesterday was a bit different in terms of numbers for Thanksgiving but that didn't seem to take away from it. It was quite relaxed and easy. Especially the dishes! Clean up was a breeze! Susan and I had that taken care of lickity split last night. Jim, Mom and I didn't stay long after dinner (had to get back to my boys) but it was nice to see everyone and spend time with them. I know Mom (though missing Richard) was quite happy to see most of her kids and grandkids in person and she got to Facetime with Anne, Max, Madison and Zoya.
Today will be a pretty relaxed day though Jim's got to work. I just fed him and he'll head out in a minute. I plan on doing my usual exercise routine and walk the dogs before figuring out what to do about dinner. Mom is going to stay at Anne's tonight before heading back to TN early tomorrow morning. I think we'll have an early dinner and then I'll get the kitties and take them all over. Maybe I'll make some more French cakes today...make sure mom has a nice cache to take back with her.
Richard is still in the hospital with no real news about what's going on. I know his heart was giving him fits and they were going to do an MRI on his foot/leg but there's not a lot of info from the docs. Hopefully he'll recover quickly.
Tomorrow is my birthday and with Covid who knows what we'll do. I think we'll just hang here and maybe have a little outdoor get together in the circle. Truthfully I'm not really into doing anything...kind of just want to chill.
And that's all I've got. I think I'll go get on the elliptical, watch the final episode of GBBO and relax. It's a little gloomy out there right now so I might wait to walk the dogs until later...we'll see.
