Getting My Husband Back

First - Jim's appointment at the doc went well. No issues to speak of. YAY! We're staying the course and he'll go in for a scan again in 3 months. WOOT!

Second to that is I might, MIGHT be getting my husband back! His second shift stint should be ending after tonight. Now, I won't hold my breath because he's at the mercy of the slow season but he's really jonesin' to get back to regular shift. I've already told him he has to deal if it's between working and not working but I feel his pain. There are certainly good things about having him home all day (I've touched on these before) but at this point I'd rather have him here. I want to cook for someone other than myself! I want to watch the Wheel with someone other than the pups. They just aren't any competition for me in guessing puzzles. Well, neither is Jim but...you know I throw him a bone every now and then. Anyway - fingers crossed that the change happens soon.

Lets see...nothing is going on at school. Crazy mom is still nuts but the VP has to deal with it all by himself now. She's been ranting and raving recently about passwords and such. She apparently thinks someone is going onto her sons account and changing passwords. It's not happening but the thought that went through my mind was, "Hmm...maybe your son is a little smarter than you and is changing it himself."

I went to Costco, Target and Aldi yesterday after school. I still hate Costco (people are such asses there) but I was happy to walk in and see all the spring flowers and then summer equipment. Made me so happy. They didn't have Jim's Irish Cream which he's going to be bummed about. I don't know if it's a seasonal thing but he's almost out and I do not want to pay regular liquor store prices.

I bought another bag of dog food (I get the 40 lb. bag) thinking we were almost out. Nope...we had a whole, unopened bag. So now we have two, which means my boys shouldn't go hungry for a long while. It'll probably last until summer!

And that's all I've got. Oh, I made a good soup last night - White bean with sausage. I used turkey sausage so it was only two points and it was delicious! I also used spinach instead of escarole. I added an extra carrot and celery and I put two cans of beans in. Lots saved and will be great to freeze.

K - now I'm out. Happy Tuesday. Later!
