So here's a whole bunch of bullshit. Remember that Jim had a consult with a thoracic surgeon a couple weeks ago? It was an appointment that ended up being unnecessary because he had been scheduled for a CT biopsy and according to the doc, if they scheduled that, they had a good idea they could get a tissue sample and a VATS wouldn't be needed. Great! Then the bill came this weekend for that 15 minute consult. $415 of which, we are responsible for $309. Can you believe that!? F&%king pissed. Needless to say, Jim will be making some phone calls today and I'll be adding this to my list of grievances.
In other news - I'm sick. I started getting something Friday night into Saturday. Though I only started getting a sore throat last night (sleeping sucked) it's not following the course of a normal cold. It has me constantly clearing my throat and I'm not coughing overly much. My head isn't clogged either. I just feel run down and nauseated by most things. Hopefully I've turned a corner and this will go away quickly. Sure and tired though.
Jim's on 2nd shift this week which is good. Hopefully we'll meet with the oncologist this week and he won't have to miss any work.
Exams start tomorrow. Today is a normal day and I'll do review with the kids. I look forward to today being over.
The weekend was good. We went to Mecklenburg's for dinner on Saturday prior to Terri's party. I wasn't into eating though so wasn't thrilled by the food. The party was fun and it was good to see friends I rarely get to see.
And that's all I've got. Time to get a move on...I need to prepare a review for the kids in history. We're playing bingo in LA. Happy Monday. Later!
