Most if not all who read this know that Maggie and Charlie had to let their sweet, sweet Zoe go yesterday.  Sad!  However, thinking about her long life and all the adventures she got to have makes me smile.  Every person and dog who met Zoe couldn't help but love her (I know Bubba used to love to walk under her and just be near her and Max!  Well, Max is going to be missing a best friend too!). She was just so innocently sweet.  I don't think I ever heard her growl and rarely heard her bark.  She was the kind of girl that could get stepped on, knocked down, accidentally run into and she wouldn't make a peep.  She was just a happy-go-lucky little lady.  Her favorite pastime, in her early years was to kiss you.  At times, it could certainly be annoying (sorry Zoe) but who can fault a pup that just wants to be with people and love on them.  Zoe is now in heaven hanging with her best pal, C.C. and if I know C.C., she's taken Zoe under her wing and they're trotting around in heaven, bouncing around on clouds and getting into all kinds of mischief.  R.I.P. Zoe...miss you, love you...you were one of a kind!

Okay so - today...I'm so excited to have a weekend at home.  It feels like that hasn't happened in I don't know how long.  I don't even care that it's going to be nasty and rainy.  Anyway - I've walked Sami, given her a bath, Zeke will get one here in a bit too.  I've eaten breakfast, talked to Maggie and I'm about to go run.  We'll clean the house and then I need to get a new pair of running shoes today.  The ones I bought in May, have already worn out.  Ridiculous!  Jim wants to go to Shooter's and play some MegaTouch and then we might go out to dinner tonight.  Thinking about Kirby's down the street.  Haven't been there before...hope it's good.
