Finally!!! It took forever (okay, 4 days) to get a pic of my sweet baby Eva in the bajamas I got her. How cute is that little punkin!? I could eat her up like a handful of candy corns!
So yesterday, the day I thought was Data day for our early release turned out to be some boring ass - snore (sorry, fell asleep just thinking about it) - meeting about the ACT. In complete and total honesty - I don't have ANY clue as to what was said. I don't know why Lisa and I (of course BFC wasn't there...she never seems to have to go to these things) have to go to these things considering the classes we teach are taught, theoretically, to students who need a modified curriculum...basically because they don't have the cognitive ability to make it in regular education. Wouldn't that tell you that they thus wouldnt' be going to college? So why am I wasting my time sitting in an hour long meeting that has NOTHING to do with ANYTHING I do!? I'm so sick of people wasting my time. I could have been writing IEPs! RRRRRRRRRR.
Hold on - Sami's wiping her nose all over me...pet pet pet...love love love. K - she's done with me...she just went over to molest the couch.
Anyway - regarding school...that's about all I've got. I woke up this morning not really knowing what the hell day it was or why my alarm was going off. I was sleeping HEAVY. FYI - woke up to Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" and now I can't get it out of my head. I'm in dire need of a vacation from these kids by the way. I mean, they are seriously getting on my nerves. The stupid questions they ask EVERY FREAKIN' DAY! Questions about shit they've done for every chapter with me. The shit I do with them is so easy and they act like I'm teaching rocket science! Oh, but half of them say they're going to college! ARG!!! Yesterday I asked them - my government class - if every time they walk into my room they're losing brain cells...maybe from the stench of the unshowered and nasty ass! (I didn't add that last part but I feel like that might be happening to me).
On that note...I need to finish getting ready and head out to teach these little - what's the opposite of a sponge? Rocks? K - later!
