Mmm...Grand Finale!

Went to dinner last night with Fritz and Jim.  Fritz took us out and it was DEEEELICIOUS!!!  I had the special - sole, with a crab/lobster Bearnaise sauce.  With that I chose their rosemary au gratin potatoes.  And of course their house salad (they have the best house salad in the city).  Jim got the strip steak with Bearnaise and Fritz just got the strip (and A-1...I know!).  For desert, Jim got the Chocolate cordial pie which stands about a foot high (not an exaggeration) and I got the limelight pie.  I was tempted to get the apricot crepes but couldn't pass up a little key lime. 

Before dinner, I took Jim around Glendale to see some of the areas that I used to tromp around (at Bethany and the Zobay's).  He had never been in that area before and was floored at the houses.  They are beautiful.  When I win the lottery I think I'll be moving to Glendale - specifically on Albion. 

So today I will be walking Sami (you should see her right now with her ears up hoping for a piece of donut from her daddy...I don't know how he can just ignore her like that), making some yummy bean soup, knitting, maybe helping Jim with leaves, and who knows what else.  Pretty exciting, huh?
