By the way, this Memorial Day weekend thing totally screwed me up. I actually forgot that I still had another week to work. Okay, I didn't "forget" but last night I was laying on the couch watching TV, it was around 8PM and I said to myself, "Shit (self)! You have to work tomorrow! Shit!" It kind of slipped my mind that I still had to get up at 5AM to head to the dreaded job! And I was still lying on the couch at 8PM!!! I hauled my ass upstairs pretty quickly so that I could get my proper beauty sleep. At least this time next week I'll pretty much be done! Suckas!!!So yesterday was a good day! I planned on chillin in the house and reading and watching the movie Jim got for me because I thought it was supposed to be nasty and rainy. I was quite surprised and happy, however, when JOY!!! the sun was shining and beckoning me to lie in it! So I did. I listened to music, read my book, flipped every 1/2 hour and I am well on my way to my "summer color". It was quite relaxing with my cobra and my peach iced tea and...no wonder I forgot about work!
Speaking of work...ugh...I guess I better head out. I should start doing the final paperwork for the year so I'm not bogged down at the last minute. Sure hope my useless male colleague is back so he can A) take control of his damn math class (stupid sub sent Lily into a tailspin about 21 times last week) and B) do the progress reports for the kids on my caseload in his math class. I need to email him today so that he has time to get them done...see, he's a complete slacker and he needs a week of reminders for shit to be completed. Lame! Guy doesn't deserve to be employed in any job that requires any effort much less paperwork!
