The Bomb!!!

It's National Bomb Pop Day!!! Can I just tell you how much I LOVE bomb pops!? I love the blue part...that's the blue raspberry flavor and it makes me smile. Funny enough, I decided to try some new drink flavors about a month ago - so that Jim would cut back on the sugary tea he likes so much - and so I bought the Kroger brand light mixes. I got peach tea and raspberry lemonade. The raspberry lemonade tastes just like the blue part of the bomb pop (which I mentioned to Maggie and my husband!!!). I was thrilled. I know, it doesn't take much for me.

In other holiday news, it's also International Fairy Day! Happy day to all those fairy's out there!

So as we all know, Maggie and I have been on a campaign in recent months to try and get my mom and Richard to get another puppy/dog. Mom seems ready but Richard is still not there. Mom even has a name picked out: (Ready?) Jazzy. I get the whole Jazz connection but the name? I don't know, no offense Mom, but it didn't grab me. So last night I dreamt that we were talking about names for pups and I said that instead of Jazzy, you should go with Ella. Isn't that cute?! (As in Fitzgerald?) Then, in my dream you were like, "But what if we get a boy?" So I came up with Miles. I woke up though and wasn't hot about Miles so I thought, "Jazz greats, jazz greats...hmm..." and I came up with Louie (Louis)! And now you have to get two dogs (or three if you're glued to Jazzy), one that you can name Ella and one who can be Louie (Louis)! Cute, cute, cute! Get on it! MADISON!!! DO YOUR DUTY!!!

Okay, it's hotter than ...a three-balled tom cat! (I looked that up and it made me laugh!) I need to walk Sami before we all die of heat stroke. I took her too late yesterday and she just wasn't feeling it...we had to turn around after only about 2/10 of a mile. She was all walkin' behind me - which she never does - and draggin' her tail so I figured she was ready to head back to her air conditioning. As was I. The humidity is supposed to drop today - thank you Jesus! Hopefully tomorrow the Reds game won't be too much of a scorcher. I'm going Saturday too so YIPPEE!!! You are all jealous!!!
