In "Friday Date Night" news, Jim and I went out to the Indian restaurant near here last night - Kanak (same people who have Ambar in Clifton). Can I just say that it was our best Friday night dinner in eons!? My Chicken Mushroom wasf%$king DEEEEEELICIOUS!!! And, get this - they're getting a new wine list so all the bottles of wine on the OLD list were only $12!!! Needless to say I had to get a bottle - of which Jim had none! I didn't finish it at the restaurant so I took it home - and finished it there! Oops. Yum!
So I had some crazy ass dreams last night. Dreamt all night of an ex-boyfriend (Bob). Weird. Nothing at all like we were together...it was just me atoning for my actions basically. I sort of screwed Bob over...twice...(in real life) and in my dream I had to...grovel, I guess you could say. It was almost like I was in AA and on step whatever where you have to do all your apologies. It was not pretty. Man I was a bitch to that poor guy. But he was so young and I was on the rebound and what can I say...I was a bitch. Yeah, I guess not much has changed. Ugh!
In holiday news, it's Crowded Nest Awareness Day which is really funny! See, every year, I get a wren who makes a nest in my cute little bird house attached to the corner of my house, just off my deck. Well, this year, she didn't make her nest there and I thought, hmm...guess she found some better digs. Anyway, while Jim and I were doing all our log splitting and stacking, I saw that she had found new digs - under the deck...well, under the Florida room. So this morning, I go out on the deck to read and drink my coffee and she wakes up and flies over to a tree and starts singing. I mean SINGING!!!! Loudly!!! For about 20 minutes (and one of her lady friends was in another tree answering back...they were probably bitching about their whining and crying babies and absentee husbands). Then she starts flying back and forth to the nest and - I assume - starts feeding her baby(ies). So I thought, I wonder if she writes a "to-do" list every night that says: Get up, fly to tree, sing for 20 minutes (or rather chit chat with neighbor lady) feed babies...and then it started raining so I went inside and didn't see what else she had to do. I'm sure she's VERY busy...she looked busy!K - so it's nasty here and we have a flood watch out which means lots of indoor activities. I think Jim and I should see a movie today but I don't know if he's into that. We'll see. Maybe Iron Man 2!? Jim sounds up for that...cool. K - later.

Space the final frontier. Chuck and I saw The A Team last night and we both enjoyed it.
