Long Weekend

No real plans this weekend. I'll be "managing" Jim for much of it as he works in the bathroom. I told him that due to his neglect of it this week (the beautiful weather made it possible for him to do some outside work), he will not be allowed any other work starting Saturday. He will be holed up in the bathroom and I've explained/told/beat into his head that there won't be any of his typical, "Oh, I'm just going to go really early and cut the lawn at Bishop" or "I just have this one thing I have to do while the weather's nice...I'll be home by 10." Nope. Sorry slacker. You will not be leaving your post until I see some real progress!!! Oh, yeah, suck my d&$k!

So I got all my car loan papers signed. I need to find out about my license plates - if I need to get new ones or not - if they're transferable. They don't expire until June 20th however, so no worries. Anyway, after the signing, I decided to take Jim out for a celebratory dinner. We went to Paxton's and then to the Whippy Dip. I had the smallest of dipped cones and Jim had the largest root beer float he could buy. Of course he didn't finish his. Of course I inhaled mine. It was deeeeelicious and I wish I could eat one every day...but alas, this fat ass can't get away with that.

Okay so, next week is the real last week of school. In reality, after today there are 5 days left. I have decided not to go to World Studies anymore - though I do try and stop in - but no one needs me and it's a huge waste of time when I could be packing or shredding. After cleaning out the Sped files yesterday, we had a stack of confidential papers to shred that reached my hips. And you know it takes FOREVER to shred!!! Our room is currently filled with boxes, bags of trash (paper for recycling) and stacks of books to be dumped (the maintenance people don't seem to realize that they can throw those away). Soon, we won't have enough room for our boxes. It's a bit nuts.

Well, I best head out. I guess I'll get an early start at school. I still haven't made up my exam reviews for the kids in my two classes (the exams are done) but right now, students and school have taken the back burner. K - later.
