That's Helpful Jim!

I don't have a meal on the menu for tonight (guess I ran out of ideas when I made my menu), so I asked Jim, "What should we have for dinner tonight?" His answer was, "Ice cream." Thanks...that's helpful. Guess I'll figure it out by myself...again.

I did an assignment with my kids yesterday to wrap up the quarter and the book we read - a bio poem - and boy did they surprise me. Of course the usual little turds didn't do it correctly (because they don't fucking listen or follow directions) but for the most part, the majority took it seriously and wrote quality poems. It always makes me happy when they do that.

Speaking of the kids, I've definitely had a short fuse of late with them the closer we get to Spring Break. They just never listen and it drives me nuts. I'll stand in front of the class and say, "Okay, open your Chromebook, get to Google Classroom and open the doc I've posted." I'll say it about 5 times and unfailingly, 2 or 3 kids will look around and then say, "What are we doing?" It's so fucking frustrating! And then they wonder why I'm such a bitch to them.

Snows a' comin on Friday into Saturday. They're saying 1-3 inches. Saturday's high temp is going to be 50 degrees colder than it was last Saturday! From 76 to 26 in a week. But!!! After that we get a warm up and by next mid-week it will be in the 70s again. Until then, however, Jim needs to bring in some wood for a fire tomorrow night and Saturday.

By the way, we're almost out of wood which means we need to take a couple trees down. Jim's supposed to call our tree guy and he needs to do that before the leaves start sprouting on the trees.

And that's all I've got. If anyone has any ideas for dinner tonight, text me. Happy Thursday. Later!
