It's going to be another lovely day here today and bonus, Jim should be home to walk Boo (I started typing Sami) which means I can take a bike ride. I mean, I could take a bike ride if I had to walk both boys but it's just much easier to plan my time if Jim's around to help. Can't wait.
Dinner tonight will be chicken burgers and probably fries and green beans.
Maggie, Charlie and Eva made it to the DR safe and sound yesterday. She sent me a picture and I can't wait to get there myself. This time next week I'll be 1 day away! Woot!
One of my parents is taking her ex-husband (father of the kid on my caseload) to court and has emailed me for a summary of how things have gone this of late. This isn't that big a deal since I've been voicing my concern for the kid all year but I hate getting in the middle of this shit. However, it is for the benefit of this kid whose dad is NOT giving him what he needs. I'm sure this is just the beginning of a shit storm.
Scout was a bad boy yesterday and got in trouble. Here's what happened: I had just taken him for a nice long walk. When we were getting home, the next door neighbors had their cat out. Well, if you know anything about Scout (remember all the bunnies he's murdered) you know that he's obsessed with animals smaller than him and when he sees them he literally starts screaming. It's so embarrassing. So we get inside, and he runs to the window and continues his ruckus and then goes to run out the door to the deck...but the screen door is closed. That was a brain shaker for him but worse than that, he busted the damn screen door. Needless to say, he got a dousing from the squirt bottle. Little fucker! And by the way, while he was getting in trouble, his tail just kept wagging. Not that he was happy...it's a nervous wag but when you're mad at him and trying to reprimand him, it's really distracting! (I love him!)
Okay well, time to get a move on. Happy Wednesday! Later!
