Rainy Morning

We've got rain right now but it should be out of here by the lun-chour. The humidity should be reduced quite a bit as well and I'm excited about that...it's STICKY! We did manage to find a pocket of "clear" weather to walk the dogs so that's done. (Scout and I got a little wet but we didn't mind). Now that the rain is ramping back up, I guess it's a good time to clean the house. Other than that, I might run a few errands...I need to get a new battery for my phone and return some shoes but that might have to wait for another day.

Yesterday I got my temporary crown replaced with the permanent one. I was a bit concerned about this because while I was living with the temporary one, I was having difficulty eating on that side of my mouth...it was just sensitive when putting pressure on my tooth. So far my replacement is all good. It fits really well and I'm able to chew on that side but I still have a little sensitivity with temperature. I'll see how it goes over the next few weeks...it takes a bit to get used to from my experience.

Jim was feeling a bit puny yesterday. I think it was just the whole previous week catching up to him. All that sun and drinking wore him out. He seems back to normal today and so I can once again crack the whip in getting him to complete his list of jobs. Actually I need to make a new list since he's gotten most of the other one done. Number one is to finish painting the house. Although the guys won't be here until Thursday or Friday to finish the siding job. There's plenty of other things to do though.

Jim's a bad dad. He came to bed last night after I did and when he went into his bedroom (guest bedroom where he keeps all his clothes) to get the gate (that we put at the top of the stairs), Scout sneaked in and got locked in all night long. Around 6 o'clock this morning he let out a little whine/bark and Jim popped right up knowing what he'd done. Poor little Scoutie. After he went outside to pee, he came running back to me (skipping his breakfast) to get some cuddles in and rat out his dad. BAD DAD!!!

Okay well, that's about all I've got. Breakfast is done and so I need to clean.  I think I'll take a bike ride later today when the weather moves out and the humidity goes down. Happy Tuesday! Stay healthy! Later!
