New Crown

And not the good kind that you wear on your head. I now have a new (well, temporary until the new one comes in) crown on my tooth. I went in hoping that all I would need is a replacement of an old filling but alas, my tooth was cracked and the doc didn't want to chance having it crack and fracture to the point where he couldn't fix it and could only pull it. He also said there was a fair amount of decay under the old filling. $600 later...here we are. My tooth that was drilled and refilled and capped is sore...I think from the "trauma" of the drilling. Makes it hard to chew on that side but I'm hoping that will pass since I'll have this temp crown until June 22nd.

In other news, Jim FINALLY has his doctors appointment - the followup for his scan. I just read the results and there is SLIGHT/MINIMAL growth of two nodules in his right lobe and no growth in the left. That's good. After Jim's oncology appointment he'll go to his rescheduled dentist appointment. Since I'm headed out here in a few to walk with a pal, we won't be able to walk the dogs this morning. I'll probably try to walk them on my own (separately) when I get home. Other than that, I'll lay out today and later go to dinner and drinks at Anne's.

The guys for the deck will be here today. They were supposed to dig holes and place posts yesterday but he had another job he was finishing so he never go to us. He did come by yesterday evening to drop of the quick-crete, however. Typical typical.

And that's about all I've got for today. I have to head out in a few so need to get a move on. Happy Tuesday! Stay healthy...later!
