I'm so happy it's Friday!!! I'm not happy it's going to be shitty weather with possible snow in the 7-day forecast! As you may or may not know, I'm a winter weather lover but this year I've found myself weary of it. I don't know if it's because my life during these winter months have been so upside down and I haven't been able to enjoy it like I normally would but Spring/Summer can't come fast enough! That being said, these last few weeks (aside from the crazy rain we got in that one week with all the flooding) have been quite nice with days here and there that were nice enough for the pups to hang outside for hours at a time.
So I had a manifestation meeting yesterday with my student who was out for taking pills at school but I don't know the outcome of the hearing (if she got expelled or not). I'm sure she didn't because to do so to a sped student would mean lots of money being shelled out by the district to provide services to her. I'm sure she'll return either today or Monday.
My March Madness bracket is okay. Of the 8 games played so far, I've gotten 6 outcomes correct. Not bad. Arizona's loss got me and Virginia Tech's loss. Oh well...I'm not busted yet.
Plans for the weekend: Nothing much. We'll chill tonight and possibly go out to dinner Saturday. We still have a Tony's gift card to use so maybe there. Jim's of course in the mood for steak.
Jim's getting stronger and stronger and is actually going to venture to Costco today! I'm going to hate when he goes back to work. Not just for the puppies sake either. He cleans, shops, makes phone calls that I hate making...I'm becoming spoiled.
Okay - time to get this day started so I can get this school day over with! Hopefully the alarm system will be fixed at school. We've had 2 unplanned fire drills this week and yesterday the alarm kept going off and off and off! So loud! Not to mention when these things are unannounced or not planned, it freaks me out a little.
