My morning juice definitely had a little something extra in it and I don't think I'll put that little something extra in next time. I made Walnut Chicken last night, which has green pepper in it. I had just the top of the green pepper and thought, "Well, rather than waste it..." so I put it in the juice and holy moly! It really came through...even with 2 grapefruits, 2 oranges, 4 apples and a handful of strawberries. Oh well, I drank it and didn't complain...Jim on the other hand...NO JUICE FOR HIM! Well, he drank it but he complained the whole time. I nearly dumped his oatmeal in his lap...he's such a baby!
So happy, by the way, that it's Friday. This weekend Jim and I are planning on replacing part of the fence...one of the last parts that we just hadn't gotten to. We can't wait any longer, however, because it's about to crumble. Hopefully that won't take the whole day on Saturday. Jim SAID he would get the materials today after dinner...we'll see. If I know Jim, and I think I do, he'll get home, eat and get lazy.
School is fine. Nothing exciting. The kids are crazy...crazier than usual. And my GOD do they say the stupidest things. I mean, 7th period, one of my sophomores says something along the lines of , "Black people scare me. They're intimidating." That's bad enough, right? But, the moron says it with a black woman (the sub for Kim) sitting right there. He just has no sense. He doesn't even see that type of comment as wrong and racist. And he's not the only one. They all just say generalized ridiculous things. The subs comment (she's all of about 100 pounds, 5 feet 3 maybe and beautiful), "Do I look scary to you?" I told Maggie that when they do and say these types of things, I feel like I should apologize for them...as though they are MY kids. UGH! Thank you Jesus that they aren't my kids!
Okay well I best motor...my computer is about to restart and I don't want to lose this stuff. K - I'm out...Happy Friday! Later!
