Interesting Animal Facts!

I don't have much to talk about so I thought I'd share a bit of fun animal facts...ENJOY!

• Sharks are the only known species to never suffer from cancer
• The duckbill platypus is known to store up to six hundred worms in its cheek pouches (I always thought the DBP was cute but now I'm rethinking that opinion!)
• A mosquito has 47 teeth (I question whether that's true or not! Oop I just looked it up...TRUE!)
• The Poison Arrow frog has enough poison stored in it that it can harm 2,200 people...at one GO!!!
• Before a spotted skunk is about to spray it will first do a couple of handstands (so, if you come across a spotted skunk and it starts doing some gymnastics...RUN!)
• It would take just one night for a mole to dig a tunnel measuring 300 feet in length (Judging by the tunnels in my back yard...I concur...stupid MFers!!!)
• All polar bears are left-handed (I think Charlie may really be a polar bear!!!  Ooh, and Trip too!!!)
• Dogs and cats are either right or left-pawed (I think Bubba is right-pawed because that's the one he always makes me hold!)
• Eagles mate while airborne (So do I!)
• Male and female rats may have sex twenty times a day (So do I!)
• Turtles can breathe through their butts (SO DO I!!!)
• 25% of all fires of unknown origin are rat-caused (Arsonists!)
• Humans, bonobo monkeys, and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure
• The average person eats eight spiders in their sleep in their whole entire lifetime! (As a kid at PIB I think I doubled that!)
