Personal Day Plans

Well, I slept pretty much like shit last night. I can't seem to shake this stiff neck and every time I wanted to move positions, I woke up...in pain. I ended up just sleeping on my back for the most part without a pillow. I don't know what's going on but it's pissing me off. In the end with all the tossing and turning and not going to "sleep" until about 1 and waking up around 7, I probably only got about 4 hours sleep.

So, today I will be doing a lot of piddly shit. I need to go to the grocery and clean a bit and finish up laundry, get clothes ready for the week and cuddle with my pups. I also need to workout and I've already started reading my user manual for my new (thanks Mom) sewing machine. I don't think it's going to be as easy as I thought/hoped. I would love to just jump right in and start creating things but alas, I don't think that's a possibility. We'll see.

Last night was really nice. We (Jim, Anne, Dan, Trip, Susan, Dad, Becky and me of course) all met and ate at Grand Finale. It was a very pleasant evening. Originally Jim and I were going to go there to celebrate his birthday but I thought that since we hadn't seen anyone lately (I've not seen Dad and Becky since Thanksgiving...isn't that terrible?) we should all try and get together. Anyway, we all had a really good time and I think we all enjoyed a delicious meal. Of course we missed Maggie, Charlie and Cullen but hopefully we can all get together soon.

Oh, and to give Anne credit...curling DID start with the original winter Olympics. I thought it was a more recent sport added (during my lifetime) but alas, it began when the winter Olympics did: In 1924.

So that's the latest in my life. I need to go make myself some breakfast and think about getting motivated. It's very rainy and grey here and the snow is melting and that means we will soon have a large lake in the back yard...not looking forward to that. K - later.

UPDATE: So I'm looking for a picture for my stiff neck and a brain scan pops up and I click on it and it's all about symptoms like "headache and stiff neck" being signs of a brain aneurysm. Great! I get headaches pretty much everyday right when I get to school and then after I eat lunch and I can't shake this stiff neck. My brains about to pop! Ugh!
