In other news, Maggie called me last night to tell me that Phil from The Deadliest Catch (captain of the Cornelia Marie...middle guy) suffered a stroke. He apparently went through a 12-hour surgery and was in a coma (possibly medically induced to reduce brain swelling). So sad. It was only a matter of time for him, however. He's had some health battles (had a blot clot travel to his lung - amazing that he even recovered from that) and never quit drinking or smoking. Well, I'm just glad he didn't go down in a horrible fishing accident.Jim's off tonight. He said he wants double dipped chicken for dinner but I was thinking about Chipotle. I've never had it and for some reason, I'm craving it (ever since the food episode last week on Oprah). We'll see how I feel later.
In exercise news, I've almost completed my 30-day challenge on my Wii Sport. So far I think I've exercised 20 days. I can't remember maybe it's only 17. I don't know. Anyway, I'm certainly much more "able" than I was at the beginning of my 30 days. It doesn't kill me to do squats and I can complete all my exercises without keeling over. Yesterday I ordered the "upgrade" in the Wii Sport. The good thing about that one is it has some belly exercises...the current one I'm using doesn't. Anyway, I don't think I've actually lost any weight but I'm probably fitter (more fit?). I think my "old-lady body" is just liking the extra fat this winter. What to do, huh? I guess I could starve myself but I like food too much. Everything in moderation.
Okay, I'm out...gotta get into work because we have a VERY IMPORTANT 7AM teachers meeting. Whoo hoo! Later
