I don't have much to talk about. It's a weird day for holidays though. One I will not be celebrating is Working Naked Day...nope, not appropriate for the high school. Hula in the Coola day may be fun...if I still worked down at the liquor store. (By the way this is for those longing to escape the winter doldrums to laugh at the cold with a luau party. I don't make these things up!) And last but not least, Give Kids a Smile Day! F%*k the kids! Oh God, that is so wrong...of course I kid! It's all about the kids! I smile at them every day (and behind that smile is me remembering that THANK GOD my "clientele" changes just about every 4 years!).
In other news, dinner last night was delicious. I made a new recipe from the Neely's: Get 'Yo Man Chicken. Maggie, it had a very similar taste to Aunt Kathleen's Italian Braised Pork Chops...the mixture of the rosemary and thyme and tomatoes. Anyway, I'm sure if you are like Maggie and can't abide anything but the chicken boob (rather than the thighs the recipe calls for), it would be just as delicious. I served it over couscous and mmm, mmm, good!
K - that's all I've got. Nothing too exciting. Jim's b-day is a week from today. He's old. 42 - I think...I get confused. Anyway, he's young at heart (and mind...not body so much as he complains like a man of 92...oh boy I have a lot to look forward to in the next 40 years!) Anyway, happy Monday! Later
