Well, here is my first blog. I have decided to update my life this way so that those who care, can view the happenings of my life without waiting for an email since I am not always the most reliant of emailers. The things listed will simply be the happenings, day to day (or week to week, hopefully not any less recent) in my life. I may also list things that bug me (or people - I mean, what better outlet - though all names will be changed to save my own ass) or simply pictures that I find helpful for a laugh. Since this is all new to me, and I'm flying by the seat of my pants, so to speak, all may not go well.
A bit about my life thus far: Married for nearly 5 years to a lovely man named Jim. We have three sweet young'uns named Zeke, Bubba and our girl, Sami. No, we aren't rednecks (sorry for those rednecks I've just insulted - or those of you named Bubba) our kids are dogs. They are all mutts and well loved (thus spoiled). Living in Cincinnati (or thereabouts) I am in my 6th year teaching Special ed at Kings High School and still loving it (this is day to day and I reserve the right to change that at any time.) At 35 aside from remaining happy, I have reached the goals I have thus set for myself and plan now, to simply win the lottery. I'll keep you updated on that.
Having said all that and before I post, I will leave off with this, my biggest pet peeve (in the hopes that it will reach at least one person and that one person will learn): I cannot stand people that can't complete a sentence. Why talk? Let me give you an example (in case you're wondering how to avoid annoying me): You're in a meeting and all is going well; people are discussing, ideas are flying back and forth and then, this one person opens their mouth. The one person you were hoping wouldn't have anything to say because you know that if they say anything, it will take 20 mintues for them to voice it OR half of the words out of their mouth will have to be pieced together later like a jigsaw for any sense to be made of it whatsoever. "I mean, okay, what it, now, I have an idea. How about, if, next year, at the first four meeting, when we all get together to talk about this again, what if we, as a team , try to , I don't know work on some way of ..." You get my drift, right? Does everyone know someone like that? Is it just me? Don't you want to punch her in the face?
It isn't just me.
