Early Start

I'm up and at 'em early today hoping that Jim will get in for his drainage procedure today. We still don't know when it will happen but it COULD happen today. Jim's supposed to get a call first thing. Dr. Flora called last night and apologized for not getting the ball rolling sooner but the plan was to set it up either today or tomorrow. He did say that it would probably mean a couple days in the hospital and he'd be out of work at least through the week. 

Additionally, Jim's consult with the surgeon about the bowel resection is on Friday. Not sure when that will happen but I'm guessing it will be when Jim is fully recovered from the drainage. I'm thinking that the PIB trip won't happen next week which sucks (I won't count it out until I talk to the docs, however) but it's fine...gotta take care of Jimmy!

Speaking of Jimmy it's our anniversary today! I keep forgetting! 20 years today...can you believe it? Crazy! Who knew? I know a lot of people didn't think we'd last but we sure showed them, huh? On the one hand, I hate that Jim might have to be in the hospital on this day but on the other, I just want to get things rolling so we can put it in the past. 

Not much else is going on here. I need to head next door to let Reggie out and then walk Scout. I also need to get Jim going but he can't eat (just in case) so there's no rush. I'll keep you all updated about what's going on. Happy Wednesday! Later!
