I was up late because I was illin'...hate that. This meant that I slept in a bit and am now slow to get moving. Sami's mean muggin' me. I keep telling her we'll go but she just doesn't trust me. Like I ever screw her over unless weather prevents. So untrustworthy.
In school news (I can't believe I just typed that): I got all the schedules done yesterday and put the kids into the master schedule. My classes are pretty balanced but Lisa has a 4th period study hall with 12 kids in it and then another period where there's 1. This is the same shituation with the new guy and Lil. Lil's shituation, however, can't be helped because once again, they've only given her 1 study hall. This goes directly against what we decided at our professional development meetings in deciding kid placement. She was only supposed to be team teaching in one English 9 class but whatever...doesn't affect me (better not).
For my own caseload, I had 2 issues and so fixed the one myself and called a parent to figure out the other issue. We'll see how that plays out as I'm still waiting to hear from that parent for a decision. It is my autistic senior.
And that's about all I've got. Today I'll just hang at home and maybe do some sewing. I had thought about going over to my former neighbors pool but she forgot that it's their house closing today and I'm not feeling quite right. We'll do it another day. Oh, and I guess I should get my shit together for tomorrow as I'm headed up to Columbus. I'll leave early Thursday and come home in the afternoon Friday. Maggie and I plan on hanging at the pool and then doing some fabric shopping Friday so I can finish up Eva's duvet.
