Today - if you haven't guessed - is the CINCINNATI REDS OPENING DAY! I will be leaving here in a bit to go to Trip and Susan's. From there we'll head downtown for the Reds parade at 1PM. The game starts at 4PM and I CAN'T WAIT! I love baseball. It is definitely my favorite sport. I know some people find it boring but not me! In addition to seeing the Reds today - I also get to spend time with my favorite boy - J.J.! Maggie talked to him a bit ago and said he's SO excited. Apparently Trip and Maggie were talking about Joey Votto's contract (10 year, $225 million) and what he'll do after playing with the Reds and Trip said he'll probably retire. J.J. said that he couldn't retire until he got to play with him at Great American Ball Park. That boy loves his Joey Votto and loves him some baseball.
I had a bit of a what-to-wear dilemma today becuase my Reds jersey is a Jonny Gomes jersey and he is now with the Oakland A's. In the end, however, I decided to go with my jersey...he was a well-loved player and whatever...I'll still be in Reds gear.
K - I need to walk Sami and get ready. GO REDS! LATER!
