Which sounds really good. I may have to go get a sandwich somewhere for our lunch "on our own" during the in-service today. Now, what kind of sandwich sounds good? Lisa?By the way, doesn't that sandwich look f%&ing good?!
So, today is an in-service. No kids, which is great, but we have to sit in training all day which sucks. I feel like taking my book or knitting so that it's not a complete waste of my time. But I won't.
Oh, so, we get an email yesterday from the assistant superintendent telling us that "HEY!!!! How awesome!!! We're allowed to wear jeans today!!! As long as we wear spirit wear!!!!" Um, yeah, I was going to wear jeans anyway and I'm NOT wearing spirit wear! Suck it! If I'm sitting in front of a computer all day I'm going to be comfortable in what I want to wear. Asses! I've never been able to find a dress code for our school/district so when they produce one and show me that we aren't supposed to wear jeans any damn time we want, well then, I'll comply to their wishes. Until then, I can manage to look presentable in jeans, thanks!
K - not that I've gotten that bit of bitterness off my chest, I can finish getting ready. Ooh, just saw that the Phillies beat the Yankees. Not that I really care about the series but I just DO NOT want New York to win...though, most likely that is what will happen. Anyway, I'm out...happy sandwich day...and get out there an vote!
