Slept Late

I slept late and Maggie didn't talk to me before her first yoga certification class starts! I wanted to say GOOD LUCK!!! Did I tell you all that Maggie has decided to become a yoga instructor? She had thought about doing this months ago and then finally made the decision last month. I think this is her "calling" so to speak. She'll complete the program in November and then she'll be certified to torture I mean, teach. Anyway, GOOD LUCK Maggie and call me later to tell me how it's going.

So can I tell you all how sick I am of hearing about Michael Jackson?! I mean, okay, I'm sorry he died and it sucks because he was so young but he was a FREAK!!! I get that he was talented but he was a FREAK!!! Normal people, normal adults don't have sleepovers with kids! That's FREAKY!!! (And the parents of those kids are douche bags too.) I'm so sick of the coverage and can't wait for it to die down! UGH!

In other exciting news, Jim and I leave for the Bay tomorrow! Can't wait. Hopefully we'll be on the road by 9AM and yes, I will be crackin' the whip on Jim's ass to get shit done. Meaning (that was for you Maggie), meaning he must get all laundry done and packing complete before going to bed tonight or he's sleeping in the garage! He's been warned too!

In preparation for the Bay, I need to go to the store and get some necessities for the trip. I also need to get to the library and maybe rent a book on CD to listen to during the drive. Don't know if Jim will be hip to this but he usually doesn't mind. I already cleaned the house and will do a quick touch up before we leave. Ooh, and I need to get to blockbuster to return DVDs and maybe rent one to take - play on the computer before bed...maybe not. Ooh, and I need to go get an oil change. I'd ask Jim to do it but he's working on the bathroom and I would rather that get done!
