Okay so, on the oven front - I have to race home today - in case Jim isn't here - for the oven guy who's supposed to be here around 3 (or 5 - gotta love that window). You know he'll probably get here at 2:59, I won't be home and he'll leave. We'll pass each other on his way out and my way in and I will be pissed. (It's hard to give up the Negative Nellie attitude...I've changed it from Negative Nancy because I don't want to offend Nancy.)
Jim went to HD yesterday and picked up the vanity and mirror. I haven't seen it yet. He's waiting until I leave today to get it out of his car. I'm sure the mirror is cracked and the vanity is warped. Still no bathtub but Jim said the people at HD said it would be in today. We all know how reliable they are with their timetables.
I have my final IEP meeting of the year today. Yippee!!! It shouldn't be a big deal. He's a kid I only see if I pass in the hallway - pretty much straight A's...shouldn't even be on and IEP. Mom is a little high maintenance but only toward her expectations of her son. I actually have another IEP meeting I must attend but it's an 8th grader and I'm not writing the thing nor am running the meeting. Apparently this is the one and only problem set of parents coming to us next year (I guess it was my turn to get saddled with some.) This will be the 3rd IEP meeting because the parents keep refusing to sign the document. Ugh! Can't wait for that one.
I finished my latest book and started a new one - I'll write about it later - but listen to this: So, how common do you think the name "Clara" is? Not very right? Well, the last book I read (Shadow Baby) and the book I just started (Heart and Soul)? The main characters in both novel's name? CLARA!!! Isn't that weird?! I thought that was weird.
Okay - I gotta head out. Oh, and not to get too positive on you all but my toaster oven is cooking like a mo fo!!! That's good by the way. I made a Creamy pork casserole (great for leftover pork tenderloin) last night and baked it in my toaster oven...worked/cooked like a charm.
K - Later.
