Pampering!

Ahhhhh! That's how I feel after yesterday. Why? Because after over a year, I got my hair done (right). My former hair dresser returned to doing hair and I was able to get the highlights that I've needed for so long and the cut that I've been wanting. I'm so happy.

After 2 1/2 hours at the salon, I ran to the grocery, ran home, grabbed Jim and the two of us went to Shooter's for a beer, lunch and some MegaTouch! We then came home, took a cat nap and around 6, Jane came over for dinner (Beef Stroganoff and asparagus). In the midst of making dinner, I burnt the shit out of my left hand. I was checking on the asparagus in the steamer and wasn't thinking and got 2nd degree burns on my ring finger and wrist. It still hurts like hell. I'm a dumbass!

Anyway, today I think I'm just hanging out here. Jim has some homework to finish so I'll probably just do my normal Sunday stuff: Get my clothes ready for the week, read, cook dinner and cuddle with my pups.

Oh, here's something funny: So I'm laying in bed yesterday after waking up from my cat nap and Sami jumps on me as she usually does. I noticed that she smelled particularly good. Kind of like strawberries. I didn't think much of it...UNTIL...I went downstairs and found in the family room, on the floor, a chewed up tube of Bonnie Bell Lip Smacker - flavor: strawberry. Yup, for some reason (maybe because she had chapped lips) Sami decided to eat my brand new tube of lip balm. She stills smells all fruity! I'm calling her my little strawbaby. I don't understand why she did it though. She never chews things. Weird.

Okay - time to make the breakfast. I'm changing it up today, we're having turkey bacon instead of regular. Gotta get healthy. Later.

How was the turkey bacon? I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I should leave a tube of that strawberry stuff out for Charlie to eat. She could stand to freshen up her breath a bit. :-)
