So, last night, I was minding my own business, hanging at home - entertaining Jane who had come for dinner when the phone rang. It was Maggie with an update on Dad's shoulder surgery. Everything went fine but he did not come out of his anesthesia as quickly as they would have liked. Also, the surgery took longer than they had figured. That being said, he was very groggy and feeling a good amount of pain. Because of this, Becky didn't want him left alone today, understandably. She hadn't taken the day off and had a 12 hour day scheduled. Jim still doesn't have a car and since I have no exams today (just the co-teaching classes where I'm not needed), I called off work. I then talked to Becky and she ended up finagling and rearranging her day so that she was able to take the day off. She still may need me to come down in case she has to head into work for a few but other than that, I'm just sitting here today. Well, I'm taking Jim down to the city to work (and then picking him up). The roads here are apparently fine but traffic sucks! It's still drizzling ice a little but nothing major. The drama never ends.
Other than all this I have nothing else exciting going on. Work is boring and I'm psyched that I don't have to sit there today, literally all day in the co-teaching classes picking my nose and then my ass with nothing to do. This class is a huge waste of my time! UGH!!!
Okay gotta go shower etc. Later.

My poor brother-I did not know about the surgery-another reason I love your blog-it keeps me in the loop-I will call today to say get better. Off to Maui on Saturday for 3 weeks! YEAHHHHH. Card is in the mail with dog pictures. LoveKathleen
