Okay so I really had nothing to write about and then I checked my email. See, whenever something funny happens at work or a kids says something hilarious (i.e. stupid and ridiculous), I email myself so I can write about it later. Well, last week after having done a lesson on Greece including the Greek gods, I showed the Walt Disney movie Hercules. Now, during my 6th period class, Lisa works one on one with our down syndrome kid. So, on Friday as we were about to finish the movie, Lisa called out to him to get his stuff so they could go downstairs to work (sometimes they just work in the room but with the movie playing he wouldn't be able to focus on anything but it). So he kind of stalled and didn't want to go so Lisa said, "If you hurry and get all your work done quickly, we can come up and you can watch the end." Of course that was motivation enough for him so he races to the door and as he's leaving he yells out to me, "Don't miss my parts Mrs. Hanke!!!"
I certainly won't miss your parts Brian!!! That would be disgusting and inappropriate!
