Woodstock looks a little like a certain chapstick loving girl who often "hates her nose".
Marcy? What coke-bottle wearing sweet girl does she resemble?
Peppermint Patty? I'm thinking of a guy, actually who has a "great fashion sense".So, what are my plans for these next 5 days off? Well, today, I'll be hanging with my pups, enjoying my day off, knitting, cleaning, and doing some walking on the treadmill in preparation for tomorrow. You see, I made the terrible mistake of saying I would do the 10K (6.2 mile) Turkey Day Race with Trip and Anne. Susan usually goes but she still isn't feeling up to par. Who did I think I was believing I could walk that far? I'm going to collapse after mile 2. Actually, I'm sure it will be fine but it's going to be freezing and possibly raining/snowing. Ugh!!! I need to go to Kohl's or somewhere and get a good jogging outfit. I mean, I do have sweatpants but they are either pink or green or their "highwaters". I may just wear those anyway to embarrass those with me. Hee!
After that, I'll go home, shower and then Jim and I will head to Raeburn where we will be hanging with the family and having dinner. I am preparing my traditional Succotash. Here is the recipe:
1 bag Lima beans
1 bag corn
In a medium size saucepan, combine 1st (and last) two ingredients. Cover with water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
I'm exhausted just thinking about the prep work.
Friday, I have agreed to go shopping on Black Friday with Lisa, Kim and Sue - some of my ladies from work. I must have a death wish or something. Actually, I'm sure it will be fun and really, it's not about the shopping. We plan on meeting at Kohl's at 5 AM up around Fields-Ertel (right?) and I hope I find some good deals and get some, if not most of my shopping complete.
Aside from all that, I plan on doing a lot of relaxing and hanging with my lovey's.
More Later.
