Something is wrong! 90°. At 10 a.m. How can that be?
I tried to beat the heat and mow the lawn before it became too unbearable but I missed. By the time I was finished, I looked like I had just stepped out of the shower, fully clothed. I was dripping. You can imagine I smelled pretty too! And, I only mowed part of the lawn since it's so dry only certain areas were long.
I also need to hire a hit man. I'm willing to pay several thousand pennies if someone will come and take out the mole (or moles) that has (have) turned my yard into a freaking mess. I think it may have to do with the Japanese beetles that have been feasting on my rose of Sharon bushes. It's driving me crazy! Mowing the back yard was like riding in a car with square wheels - all the bumps and ditches - it rattles my teeth. I seriously need to win the lottery and get that back yard fixed!!!
K - must go shower and get to Target to get chewies for my sweeties and rechargeable batteries for my phone! Yeah, my phone not any other toys.
Okay - update: I just read that moles love Japanese beetle larvae more than Cookie Monster loves cookies! F&$KING CRAP!!! I'm getting rid of those rose of Sharon bushes! That's it!!!

We had lots of Japanese beetles. Daryl takes care of them with seven dust. He also takes care of moles by flooding them out with a hose and then hitting them with a shovel and killing them. Thank goodness we haven't had any of those this year. It always upsets me when he does that, but he will not let them destroy his yard, it is way too important to him.
